| On 18 October 1989 the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics, Gorton, Connecticut, was awarded the contract to build the USS Wyoming (SSBN 742); her keel was laid 8 August 1991; she was launched 15 July 1995; Delivered 20 June 1996 and commissioned 13 July 1996. |
| Wyoming currently operates with the Atlantic Fleet out of Kings Bay, Georgia. |
