| On 7 January 1981 the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics, Gorton, Connecticut, was awarded the contract to build the USS Nevada (SSBN 733); her keel was laid 8 August 1983; she was launched 14 September 1985; Delivered 7 August 1986 and commissioned 16 August 1986. |
| Nevada currently operates with the Pacific Fleet out of Bangor, Washington. |
