| John G. Gromosiak was born in Niagara Falls, New York on May 11,
1933. After service during the Korean War as a military artist, John attended
the Dayton Art Institute. He was also tutored for several years by well known
New York illustrator and Chicago Art Institute mentor George Rosen. |
| He eventually became an art director with the United States Air
Force and their space related programs. Leaving in 1978 he became a freelance
artist, author and military historian. His works of art are represented in
many government, corporate and private collections. He has appeared in TV
Guide (1892) and has numerous television and radio credits. John has also
authored many articles for various art publications. A book titled "You Can
Paint With Anything" is in the process of completion. John is currently working
on the National Medal of Honor Mural. |
