| To all to whom presents shall come, |
| Greeting: |
|
| Know Ye, that Joseph W. Langbauer has this day been received into
our Royal Domain as one of our faithful subjects, from the U. S. Battleship
Louisiana. |
| We therefore command, in case of his falling overboard, that all
Sharks, Dolphins, Devil Fish, Eels, Whales and Crabs abstain from eating
him or otherwise maltreating his person. |
| We further direct all Sailors, Soldiers, Marines, Politicians
and Landlubbers, who have not covered our Royal Domain, to treat him with
that proper respect due to one that has visited us. Disobey under penalty
of our Royal displeasure. |
| Given at our Court, on the Equator, Long. 37º 11' W. this
Sixth day of January 1908, according to the computation of mundane
generations. |
