Length, 450 feet. Breadth, 76 feet 10 inches. Mean Draft, 24 feet 6 inches. Displacement, 16,000 tons. Speed, 18.85 knots. Bunker Capacity, 2,400 tons. Batteries: Main Battery, four 12-inch breech-loading rifles, eight 8-inch breech-loading rifles, twelve 7-inch breech-loading rifles. Secondary battery, twenty 3-inch rapid fire guns, twelve 3-pound semi-automatic guns, two 1-pounder automatic guns, two 3-inch field pieces, two machine guns, caliber .30, four 21-inch submerged torpedo tubes. Armor: Belt, 9 inches; turrets, 12 inches; barbettes, 10 inches; deck, 3 inches. Complement: 41 officers, 840 men. Built at Newport News, Virginia. Launched April 8, 1905.
