| February 1 the Fleet gets underway for Punta Arenas, where it
anchors at 12:300 PM. |
| General Chaigneau, Governor of Magellan, holds a reception at
his residence on February 6. |
| The Fleet leaves Punta Arenas accompanied by the Glacier,
Culgoa, Panther, Ajax and the American Torpedo Flotilla
with the Chilean cruiser Chacabuco as an escort on February 7 at 11
PM . |
